Beary Special Bears
Our bears are made from fine German and English mohair and wool felt. They are fully jointed (except where noted), and we always use safety joints for safe cuddling by little friends. We make bears with glass shoe-button eyes, or embroidered eyes. Each bear is stuffed with 100% wool stuffing and a hand-written prayer card.
Most of our bears are large enough to wear newborn clothing. Bears can be made to wear an heirloom Christening gown, a replica of your child's christening gown, or another special outfit. You may send those along to us and your bear friend will arrive dressed in your special garment - and not bare. :) You may also have us choose an outfit, made from vintage linens or woolens - or have us design a matching child/bear set!
Blessed Bears may also be donated to a child who is suffering a terminal or chronic illness, or a child who has suffered the loss of a loved one. If you would like to donate a bear, please indicate on your order form (in the comments section of the Paypal payment form) that your bear will be a "Beary Special Gift". You may include a special prayer which will be written and stuffed inside. Your gift will arrive with a certificate explaining who sent the bear, and will include a typewritten copy of the prayer that was placed inside.

Each and every Blessed Bear (tm) is made to order, by hand, with love and prayers. The process will take several weeks to complete, and we may, at times, have a waiting list. Please plan ahead for bears that need to arrive for a special occasion.
